"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver" 2 Corinthians 9:7

The word of God teaches us that the Old Testament saints tithed to the priesthood, for festivals, for the poor, of their firstfruits etc...  The old Testament saint would give about 25-30% for their yearly tithing...  WOW!

In the New Testament we are taught and have been given the example that we should give weekly, with deliberate forethought and with a cheerful heart!
In other words we have the priviledge to give because HE GAVE!  In order to reduce pressure on this issue, we do not pass a plate or bucket, we simply place a Cheerful giver Box in the back of the Sanctuary for your convenience. So pray, plan, prepare and present your gift to God!
